PON LAN can upgrade the cabling in your home or business to make and take full advantage of the nbn.

PONLAN Fibre Components

Once you have your RSP connection accessing the nbn Access network (NOTE: We are unable to change or increase the speed of this connection)

The components that make up a PONLAN System:

  • The RSP equipment will then be connected to an OLT.
  • The OLT provides the copper to Fibre interface.
  • From the OLT a single fibre will then be split 32 ways.
  • Each splitter leg will be extended with a fibre to each Room or Desk Location.
  • The fibre is connected to a wall plate.
  • A short fibre cable connects the wall plate to the Optic Network Terminator (ONT).
  • The ONT changes the signal from fibre to copper.

Allowing you to connect your room and office devices:

  • TV
  • Computer
  • WiFi
